Nick Cassenbaum is a writer, performer and theatre maker.

His plays include REVENGE: After the Levoyah (Edinburgh Festival Fringe, 2024; Yard Theatre, London, 2025) and Bubble Schmeisis (Edinburgh Fringe and UK tour).

He is co-artistic director of Take Stock Exchange.

Jessie Cave is a writer and performer. She is best known for playing Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter films. She was a regular in Sky’s flagship sitcom Trollied and has also appeared in Call the Midwife, Black Mirror, Loaded and Father Brown.

Jessie’s doodles about love and her depiction of motherhood have a cult following on Instagram. Her doodles and comedy were featured in Dictionary Corner on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her first book of doodles, Love Sick, was published by Penguin Random House in 2015. 

Her solo comedy shows have been critically acclaimed and have had sell-out runs in Edinburgh and Soho Theatre.

Maureen Chadwick is the creator and writer of a wide range of award-winning, critically acclaimed and controversial shows for both television and theatre, including single plays, primetime drama series, stage plays and musicals.

She was one of the co-founders and creative directors of Shed Productions, writing and producing a new wave of entertaining and hard-hitting television drama series, notably Bad Girls, Footballers’ Wives and Waterloo Road. 

Previous television credits include Angels, EastEnders, Coronation Street and BBC Screen One single dramas Watch with Mother and Two Golden Balls.

Previous theatre credits include Joséphine (at BAC and on national tour), Dust (BAC), Bad Girls: The Musical (at West Yorkshire Playhouse and in the West End), The Speed Twins (Riverside Studios) and The Realness (Hackney Downs Studios).

Joesph Chaikin (1935–2003) was an American theatre director, playwright and champion of actor-led theatre.

Shamia Chalabi is a London-based writer and actress working in theatre and TV.

Her semi-autobiographical play, Burkas and Bacon Butties, based on some of her personal experiences growing up in London and Wigan, was first performed at part of the 2018 VAULT Festival, London. It was later developed as a new play, Habibti Driver, premiered at the Octagon Theatre, Bolton, in 2022.

Colin Chambers, a former journalist and theatre critic, was literary manager of the RSC from 1981-1997. His many books include the award-winning Peggy, the authorised biography of play agent Peggy Ramsay.

Janys Chambers is a writer, director, dramaturg, performer and theatremaker.

Katherine Chandler is an award-winning writer working in theatre, film and television.

Her plays include: Lose Yourself (Sherman Theatre, Cardiff, 2019); Thick as Thieves (Clean Break & Theatr Clwyd, 2018); Bird (Sherman Cymru, Cardiff, and Royal Exchange, Manchester, 2016); and Before It Rains (Bristol Old Vic, 2012).

She was awarded the inaugural Wales Drama Award by the BBC and National Theatre Wales and won the Judges' Award in the 2013 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting with Bird. She also won the Writers Guild Playwright Award at the 2013 Theatre Critics of Wales Awards.
