Based on the playwright's extensive interviews with residents of Reading, Lynn Nottage's play Sweat is a tale of friends pitted against each other by big business, and a topical reflection of the present and poignant decline of the American Dream. Later this month, it will be revived at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester.

We've teamed up with our friends at Royal Exchange Theatre to offer one lucky winner the chance to receive a pair of tickets to a performance of Sweat – subject to availability – plus a copy of the playscript.

- One winner will receive a pair of best available tickets to a performance of Sweat at Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester. Please note that prize tickets are subject to availability. The date and time are not confirmed until a booking reference number has been received. Travel and accommodation costs are not included. No cash alternative to the prize will be offered. The winner will also receive a copy of the published playscript to Sweat; it is the entrant's responsibility to ensure that the postal address they provide is correct. 
- This competition is not open to employees of Nick Hern Books, Royal Exchange Theatre or any other organisation involved with the production.
- The winner will be notified by email on the afternoon of Thursday 25 April 2024. They must accept the prize by 12 noon BST on Sunday 28 April, otherwise a new winner will be drawn.
