Thornton Wilder's short plays are published for the first time in two volumes.

This first volume collects an earlier publication, The Long Christmas Dinner and Other Plays, and one-acts from two play cycles - The Seven Deadly Sins and The Seven Ages of Man - which Wilder worked on in the 50s and 60s. It marks the first publication of five plays which had existed only in manuscript among the author's papers.
