Website orders


As of Tuesday 28 July, print orders through our website have now re-opened for delivery within the UK and Europe.

 

Orders for delivery within the UK

Most orders will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class post, while larger orders may be sent via tracked courier. Please allow up to 10 working days for your books to arrive; if your order has not arrived by this time, please contact us by emailing info@nickhernbooks.co.uk or calling 020 8749 4953.

 

Orders for delivery within Europe

If you’re ordering from Europe, your order will be sent via Royal Mail International Standard. Please allow up to 15 working days for your books to arrive; if your order has not arrived by this time, please contact us by emailing info@nickhernbooks.co.uk or calling 020 8749 4953.

 

Orders for delivery outside the UK and Europe

Unfortunately, at the present time we’re not able to fulfil orders placed for delivery outside the UK and Europe. We’re currently working hard to resolve this situation, and hope to have a further update soon. Customers outside the UK and Europe are encouraged to please use an alternative retailer for the moment.

If you’re trying to order for delivery outside the UK and Europe, our website will allow you to add items to your basket, but you won’t be able to complete checkout – when selecting your country from the drop-down menu, you will see a pop-up notification that says 'Due to distribution agreements you must purchase from our distributor in your area'.

Ebooks

While territorial restrictions on print orders remain in place, we’re also temporarily unable to accept website orders for ebooks from countries outside the UK and Europe. We apologise for this inconvenience, and hope to have an update soon.

Customers within the UK and Europe can purchase ebooks as usual, at our standard 20% website discount.

 

Delivery charges and website discounts

We’ve made some changes to our delivery charges, which you can see in full here.

We’re continuing with our standard 20% website discount on all Nick Hern Books-published titles, and we’re also currently running a number of themed promotions at deeper discounts – click here to see the titles included.

Playscript Subscriptions


In light of theatre closures following government advice, we've decided to pause all active Playscript Subscriptions until new play productions resume.

Subscriptions will be 'frozen' at their current month, and extended accordingly. Any new subscriptions purchased during this pause will start at the same time. If you're a Playscript Subscription customer and would like to discuss this further, please email us at subscriptions@nickhernbooks.co.uk.
