Tracy Letts is an American playwright, screenwriter and actor, and is an ensemble member of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company. He is the author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play August: Osage County.

Steven Levenson is an American playwright whose plays include If I Forget, The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin, Core Values, The Language of Trees, and Seven Minutes in Heaven. He wrote the book for the musical Dear Evan Hansen. He was a writer and producer on Showtime's Masters of Sex.

Andrea Levy (1956–2019) was an English author best known for the novels Small Island (2004) and The Long Song (2010). She was born in London to Jamaican parents, and her work explores topics related to British Jamaicans and how they negotiate racial, cultural and national identities.

Robert Lewis founded the Actors Studio with Elia Kazan and Cheryl Crawford in 1947. He is known for his innovative work as a director, including the premieres of Brigadoon, Witness for the Prosecution and On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.
