Eduardo Machado
Eduardo Machado was born in Cuba and came to the United States when he was nine, growing up in Los Angeles. He is the author of more than forty plays, and has two volumes of his works published by TCG; The Floating Island Plays and Havana Is Waiting.
Freddie Machin
Freddie Machin is a playwright, screenwriter, actor and teacher. His plays include: Party Pooper (Drama Studio London); The Real Estate (Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, 2017); Nailhouse (Old Red Lion); Winston on the Run (Edinburgh Fringe & UK Tour); The Revenge of Martha G. (Chichester Festival Theatre); Don't Waste Your Bullets on the Dead (Vault Festival) and Chicken (Southwark Playhouse).
He wrote the feature film Chicken (2016), based on his play of the same title.
He has taught both acting and playwriting for Shakespeare's Globe, the Almeida Theatre, the Royal Opera House, and Central School of Speech and Drama amongst others.
Sabrina Mahfouz
Sabrina Mahfouz is a writer and performer. Her most recent theatre show was A History of Water in the Middle East (Royal Court, 2019), which her forthcoming debut non-fiction book is inspired by, These Bodies of Water (Tinder Press, 2022).
Her most recent publications as editor include Smashing It: Working Class Artists on Life, Art and Making it Happen (Saqi, 2019) and Poems From a Green and Blue Planet (Hachette, 2019). She is a resident writer at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and at the TV and film company, House Productions.

Martyna Majok is an American playwright whose plays include the Pulitzer Prize-winning Cost of Living (Williamstown Theatre Festival, 2016; Manhattan Theatre Club, 2017).
Other plays include Sanctuary City (New York Theatre Workshop), Queens (LCT3/Lincoln Center, La Jolla Playhouse), and Ironbound (Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Round House, WP Theatre/Rattlestick, Geffen Playhouse, and other theatres in America and abroad).
