Alexis Diamond is a Canadian theatre artist, opera and musical librettist, translator, and theatre curator working on both sides of Montréal's linguistic divide. Her award-winning works have been presented across Canada, the US, and Europe.

David Diamond is a theatre consultant and career coach for theatre artists. He has edited publications for the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation.

Charles Dickens (1812-1870) was an English writer and social critic who is generally regarded as the greatest novelist of the Victorian period. His major works include: The Pickwick Papers (1836), Oliver Twist (1837–9), Nicholas Nickleby (1838–9), A Christmas Carol (1843), Martin Chuzzlewit (1843–4), David Copperfield (1849–50), Bleak House (1852–3), Hard Times (1854), Little Dorrit (1855–7), A Tale of Two Cities (1859), Great Expectations (1860–1), Our Mutual Friend (1864–5) and the unfinished The Mystery of Edwin Drood (1870), as well as other novels, books and short stories. None of his major works has ever gone out of print.

Selma Dimitrijević is a playwright, director and artistic director of international touring company Greyscale. Her original plays include Night Time (Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, 2007).

Ayub Khan Din’s play East is East (1996) was originally staged at the Royal Court Theatre and adapted into a feature film. The play and film have won a Writers’ Guild Award for Best New Writer and a British Academy Award. Other plays include Last Dance at Dum Dum (1999), Notes on Falling Leaves (2004) and Rafta, Rafta… (2007), which won a Laurence Olivier Award for Best New Comedy. A film adaptation, All in Good Time, was released in 2012, a year after his sequel to East is East, named West is West. His most recent plays have been All the Way Home, directed by Mark Babych at the Lowry Theatre in Salford, musical comedy Bunty Berman Presents, produced on Broadway by The New Group, and an adaptation of E.R. Braithwaite’s To Sir, With Love.

Michael D. Dinwiddie is a playwright and associate professor in the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University. His awards include a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Playwriting and a Walt Disney Fellowship at Touchstone Pictures, among others. In 2018 Michael was inducted into the College of Fellows at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
