A challenging and thought-provoking play about T.E. Lawrence and his life after Arabia.

It's 1922, and T.E. Lawrence (of Arabia), is now plain T.E. Shaw (of Dorset). He is encamped incognito with his bodyguard John Bruce, and the other raw recruits at Bovington Tanks. Seven Pillars of Wisdom comes up against the hangover from the Great War.

Ronan O'Donnell's play The Doll Tower was first performed by LLT, Liverpool's new writing theatre, in 2005.
