Kitchen

By Enda Walsh
Published in volume Arlington

In a small kitchen, standing by her sink, a wife wills her implosion.

Enda Walsh's short play Kitchen was first performed at the 2016 Galway International Arts Festival alongside two other short plays by the same author – A Girl's Bedroom and Room 303 – under the collective title Rooms. All three plays are published in a volume with Arlington.

'When I was a little girl I dreamt of falling in love with someone good and living in a comfortable house with a bright kitchen.'
